Not reliable
I signed with LunarPages about a month ago. My site has been unreachable during 4 days now, and it still is down. I submitted two tickets but the tech service is doing nothing to solve the issue. What is the use of cheap web space when nobody can visit it?...
Not good any more
Few years ago LunarPages was a good value for what you got.
Unfortunately, in past few years the reliability began to suffer and the support became awful.
Although they lowered the monthly fee & increased allowed disk space & bandwidth, they have adopted some dramatic limits of what you can run of a shared server site. This webhost not as good as it used to be.
Good but not the best
LunarPages has lots of pros: great amount of space for the money,easy and efficient cPanel , clear knowledge base and helpful support forums. But there's too many critical cons: problems with sending and receiving email, slow customer service, low technician skill levels, slow server performance. They are not as attentive to details as you would expect a highly rated webhost to be. It took me several requests to have a domain registration finished months after I had already paid for it. I have been with Lunarpages for 3 years, but I think I will not renew.
Great host
After some research I thought I'd give this webhost a try. I've been using it for over 8 months already and I'm really very pleased. The uptime has been much more than I expected it to be and support answers me quickly and efficiently. I even got a discount when I used the coupon. Really great web hosting company, I couldn't dream of a better one.
